Why I do what I do

Like a cliche romance film, my love story started on the streets of Europe. It’s not a traditional love story, as my love interest was actually a Canon Rebel that I used to document every moment of my time abroad. 

As time went on, I saw how much power a photograph holds. So often people criticize themselves too harshly or lack confidence in who they are. The magic of the camera is that your beauty is captured as the rest of the world sees it. I saw the shift in self-esteem from my friends who I photographed. Those photos were reminders to be a little kinder to yourself. And I fell in love with giving that gift to others. 

Those candid moments abroad turned into senior photos for friends. And as we all started to grow up, those sessions soon became engagement sessions, weddings, maternity shoots and family sessions. I've fallen in love with each of these stages life brings through my lens.
